This book is a Who's Who of SCRATCH Celebrities. The characters in this book are high-profile people in the Hollywood underground rock scene from 1976 to 1986. They are mostly those who appeared on the pages of SCRATCH Magazine, a weekly Hollywood fanzine that celebrated local bands, artists, and other characters who were prominent on the scene. They are displayed inside in alphabetical order, with a photo and bio. Most of the photos were taken by SCRATCH Publisher Ruben Blue as he navigated the clubs and parties in Hollywood. Many of the bios contain personal insights by Ruben, as well. The Hollywood nightclub and party scene was big in the early 80s, so compiling this list of "scenesters" was a considerable effort. This book is a historical remembrance of the characters who dominated the Hollywood music scene at the time.
